What are soul contracts? A soul contract is a non-physical agreement made on the soul level of your consciousness. You create them most often between your soul family and soul group before you incarnate into a new body, and they can detail all kinds of aspects about your life. These contracts are made with a special purpose - to teach us lessons we’ve chosen to learn before reincarnation. People we have soul contracts with will come in to our lives for this purpose, and they will be an important and unavoidable part of our unique path.
In our childhood we start to embrace patterns and schemes of behaviour that will establish our blockages and our primal wounds, just so that we can later heal. It is these patterns that will bring to us people we have soul contracts with, and they will come into our lives to teach us about ourselves, who we are and who we are destined to become. These soul contracts affect our relationships at a deep and profound level. They also govern the experiences, events and circumstances.
Our true soul family are the ones we often have the biggest contracts with. These people, over many lifetimes, tend to play the roles of our partners, parents, children and other important individuals - even our pets. Sometimes, when you have the uncanny feeling that you’ve known someone your whole life, even though you’ve just met, this may indicate that they’re in your soul family.
One of the hardest parts of coming to Earth, is that our memories are wiped (or more likely, locked away in the depths of our subconscious) when we are born. The key theme to this human experience then is remembering who we are, our spiritual truth and the soul contracts that we signed / agreed to before arriving.
The ultimate goal of soul contracts is to wake up your human self. It will also help you learn to separate your own ego from your soul. This way you can have your own spiritual growth. The basic purpose of a soul contract is to help every spirit move closer to unconditional love.
The fulfilment of soul contracts is ultimately how you raise your vibration, as the more wisdom you are able to amass, the more you will be able to act from your highest intent.
We are now being encouraged to remember our contracts, to take responsibility for ourselves, to ground more and to come back to truth and self.
