Mercury stations retrograde in Capricorn on the 29th December, during a Venus and Mercury conjunction. It will remain retrograde until the 18th January 2023. It joins Mars and Neptune that are still stationed retrograde. Mercury rules communication, our thought processes, details, short distance travel, all things mental and siblings. Mars is the planet that rules over our heated emotions, so with Mercury and Mars in retrograde together, it may be easier to lash out or say something you regret. This is a good time for sitting down and processing, for slowing down, reflecting, reviewing, releasing, reforming and restructuring - preparing for the coming changes in 2023. As the year of 2022 draws to a close, we need to surrender and accept that nothing is likely to unfold in the way that we want it to. When we surrender and let go of resistance, we create room for the universe to give us more of what we need not want.
