Black New Moon in Taurus

There is a potent Black New Moon in Taurus on the 19th/20th May. The Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus and North Node are all currently in the Earth sign of Taurus. Mercury is now stationed direct. Mars also moves into Leo on the 20th May.

A powerful aspect to this New Moon is the T-square alignment of Jupiter, Mars and Pluto. The opposition with Mars and Pluto is particularly big and powerful. T-squares are known to be a challenging alignment, but it is in those challenges that we often find ourselves making the best decisions and most beneficial life changes. This alignment was last seen in 1941.

This New Moon is called a Black Moon because it is the third New Moon of four in a season. Black Moons are unusual, they don’t happen very often.

New Moons are regarded as a time of inward focus, quiet contemplation and intention setting. If the New Moon plants seeds of intention and inspiration, the Black Moon compounds those intentions.

Around May 16th to the 24th, the Pleiadean Portal is open and peaks around the 20th to 21st May. This is a time where we can access the energy of the Pleiades with greater ease.

This is a great time to be doing spiritual work. Meditating, doing the inner work to clear the triggers and blocks, and finding your spiritual community. Listen to the quiet whispers of your inner knowing and let go of the need to force anything. Choices need to be made and stances taken. Be transparent and honest. Be extra grounded.
